My name is Shannon Knight, LMHC and my goal as a licensed mental health counselor and therapist is to provide a safe and compassionate place where counseling clients from all over Tampa, FL can receive encouragement and support as they navigate through the challenges of life. No matter what you are going through, whether anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or sexual or gender identity issues, there is hope. As a person-centered therapist, I believe that you are the expert on yourself and that therapy is a catalyst for you to discover your personal and professional potential.
Empowering and guiding my clients to live, feel, communicate, and connect authentically with themselves and others is the cornerstone of my practice. I emphasize the importance of a strong therapeutic connection and a commitment to grow and heal. Getting Started with Therapy
Finding a therapist who’s the right fit for you is the most important aspect of a successful therapeutic experience.
