Welcome! My name is Shannon Knight, LMHC and my goal as a licensed mental health counselor and therapist is to provide a safe and compassionate place where counseling clients from all over Tampa, FL can receive encouragement and support as they navigate through the challenges of life. No matter what you are going through, whether anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or sexual or gender identity issues, there is hope. As a person-centered therapist, I believe that you are the expert on yourself and that therapy is a catalyst for you to discover your personal and professional potential.

I emphasize the importance of a strong therapeutic connection and a commitment to grow and heal. My office is an affirmative and safe space to explore current or past issues that are impeding your ability to feel joy and satisfaction within yourself, your career, and your relationships.
Getting Started with Therapy
