Christine Yerrakadu, MA, LMHC
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Christine Yerrakadu, MA is a licensed mental health counselor and expressive art therapist. She specializes in working with teens, adults, families, and caregivers. She is dedicated to providing safe and creative counseling and therapeutic experience services throughout the state of Florida. Christine completed two Master of Arts degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Expressive Arts Therapies as well as Art History and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and Criticism.

By engaging in Expressive Arts Therapy, Christine works to help clients reach a sense of mindfulness, peace and security. She's found art to be a powerful tool to help clients learn more about what is troubling them and making them feel stuck. In addition to clinical counseling, Christine utilizes her extensive background in music and art to create simple, yet creative exercises, such as doodling, drawing, listening to music and sounds, and writing, to help support clients on their healing journey. These creative outlets enhance therapy, and help facilitate growth, development, and healing, without the need to have any prior creative experience. Sometimes just a pencil and scrap paper will do!
Using an intersectional and multicultural approach, based on years of education, Christine specializes in working with diverse populations including issues of race, ethnicity, identity, abilities, and disabilities. She is also passionate about working with families and caregivers with loved ones on the Autism Spectrum and those with chronic illnesses.
